Andium Homes is Jersey’s largest provider of affordable housing, responsible for more than 4,900 properties, housing more than 10,000 Islanders

Andium Homes has today published its 2025 Annual Report and Financial Statements, marking one of the strongest years in the Company’s history, with record delivery of new homes and clear benefits for Islanders, in the context of a sustainable financial position.   

The Report shows that during 2025 Andium delivered 363 new affordable homes and entered 583 new tenancies which significantly reduced social housing waiting times.  More than 5,100 homes are now managed by Andium, providing high-quality, social housing for over 10,000 Islanders.   

With its Andium Homebuy Scheme, which enables first-time buyers to purchase a home at 75% of its value, without the need for a deposit, the Company also helped 154 first‑time buyers access home ownership.

Despite wider market pressures, Andium maintained its sustainable financial performance as a not-for-profit social housing provider.  Andium made a £28.7million return to Government, invested £97million in homes and regeneration, a further £18million in repairs and maintenance and £1 million for community investment activities.  With 527 additional homes, of which 245 are family houses, under construction or in contract, and a continued focus on client engagement, regeneration and digital transformation, Andium enters 2026 well positioned to build on this momentum and deliver even more opportunities for Islanders. 

For Chief Executive Lindsay Wood, the publication of the 2025 Annual Report coincides with the completion of her first year in the role, a year she describes as both challenging and deeply rewarding. 

Lindsay Wood, Chief Executive said: 

“2025 was an outstanding year for Andium Homes and one I am incredibly proud to reflect on, not just because of our new development and stable financial performance, but because of the real difference those outcomes are making to people’s lives. 

We provided homes, stability and opportunity to more Islanders than ever before, strengthened communities, and continued to operate as a resilient, well‑run business in a challenging economic environment. I feel privileged to lead an organisation that cares so deeply about the Island, works collaboratively with partners, and remains relentlessly focused on doing the right thing for our clients and communities.” 

Major developments including Maisons Les Arches and Le Grand Douet were completed during the year, helping to regenerate the north of St Helier and create modern, well‑connected communities. Waiting times for social housing also reduced significantly, with 84% of Band 1 applicants housed within 12 months.  This average does not tell the full story, and there were many instances where applicants were offered a home within weeks of joining the list.   

Andium’s focus on delivering a great client experience continued to show results, with the client satisfaction survey demonstrating client satisfaction at 78%, benchmarking well against peer housing organisations in the UK.  More than 60% of clients now use Andium’s App and Portal, making it easier to engage with services and manage their tenancy. 

More Islanders than ever before were supported into high-quality, social rented and assisted purchase homes, experienced improved services and felt the benefits of well‑connected communities, with a strong focus on listening to clients and putting people first.  Looking ahead, Andium’s priorities remain to help Islanders access and enjoy great homes and services at the right time in the right way.  With more new homes in delivery, there has never been a better time to access a home from Andium, whether to rent or to buy.

Andium Homes is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Non‑Executive Directors, Lisa Mclauchlan and Vijay Khakhria, who will join the Board on 1st March 2026. Both individuals are locally resident in Jersey and bring extensive experience to support Andium’s continued growth and development.

Their appointments follow the retirement of long‑serving Board members Jonathan Day and Julian Box in February.

The appointments were made following a competitive recruitment process supported by Maven Partners and overseen by the Jersey Appointments Commission.

About Lisa Mclauchlan

Lisa brings more than 25 years of commercial leadership experience spanning financial services, technology and data‑driven businesses. She has held senior strategic and commercial roles across several multi‑jurisdictional organisations, leading global business development, sales operations, marketing and commercial transformation programmes.

Lisa also serves as a Non‑Executive Director of the Jersey Sport Board and Chair of its Remuneration Committee, supporting the organisation’s strategic and governance objectives.

Lisa said, “I am honoured to be joining the Board of Andium Homes at such an important time for the organisation and for housing in Jersey. I look forward to bringing my strategic leadership and organisational growth experience to support Andium’s purpose of providing safe, secure and affordable homes for Islanders.”

About Vijay Khakhria

Vijay brings over twenty years of senior financial, commercial and governance experience across regulated sectors, capital‑intensive organisations and Government advisory. A Chartered Accountant, he recently concluded his service as a Lay Member of the Public Accounts Committee, where he provided independent financial and commercial oversight of public sector performance. He is also a Non‑Executive Director of the Jersey Opera House, supporting ongoing governance and operational stabilisation.

Vijay has extensive board‑level advisory experience, including financial strategy, governance improvement and stakeholder engagement, particularly within high‑scrutiny public‑sector contexts.

Vijay said, “I am very pleased to be joining the Board of Andium Homes. I have long admired Andium’s clarity of purpose and the strength of its governance. I look forward to bringing my experience in financial oversight, risk and stakeholder engagement to support the important role Andium plays for Islanders.”

Following a significant programme of training and work, Andium Homes have been awarded
Dementia Friendly Business status.

The Dementia Friendly Business scheme was launched by Dementia Jersey in 2023, with Jersey
Hospice the first to secure the accolade, and JT following this in 2024. The scheme asks organisations to sign-up to an audit of customer-facing spaces and services, and to complete a comprehensive training scheme for staff – as well as make an ongoing pledge to maintain inclusivity and accessibility. Andium Homes have given access to public and business areas of the organisation, as well as newly-built properties.

The scheme is open to all sectors, from retail to housing, utilities to entertainment, and finance to transport. Benefits of taking part include improved communication with clients, support for the workforce, and a wider impact on accessibility – as many of the outcomes can address several needs (such as visual impairment or sensory difficulties). Most importantly, the scheme means businesses pro-actively support the growing numbers of people on island with dementia or mild cognitive impairments.

To attain certification, Andium Homes have added an accessibility tool to their website, added additional high contrast to bathrooms, and planned a programme of minor works, including ‘dementia friendly’ signage. Senior members of the team having also taken on board suggested practice for future developments, and are actively engaging tenants in a process to improve wayfinding in tenant blocks.

Peter Styles has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Andium Homes. The appointment was made at the conclusion of the recruitment process run by the Chief Executive Officer of Andium Homes and overseen by the Jersey Appointments Commission.  

Peter will take up the vacant Chief Financial Officer role on 1st July 2025.  

Peter is currently the Chief Client Services Officer at Andium and has been with the Company since October 2023, where he previously acted as Head of Finance and played a pivotal role in the £100m private placement funding that Andium achieved in 2024.  Prior to joining Andium, Peter, a Chartered Accountant, held several roles with the Treasury & Resources Department of Jersey’s Government, latterly as the Head of Group Reporting. 

Peter was born and raised in Jersey and attended Hautlieu School before continuing his academic studies at the University of East Anglia where he attained a BSc in Development Studies, before going on to study Accountancy.  

Andium Homes’ Chief Executive Officer, Lindsay Wood, said: “I am absolutely delighted that Peter will be taking on the Chief Financial Officer role. Through a very rigorous selection process Peter demonstrated the drive, commitment and technical skills that this role requires.
