Andium Homes is Jersey’s largest landlord, and manages more than 4,700 rental properties, providing excellent and affordable homes and highly valued landlord services for more than 10,000 islanders, alongside an annual programme of assisted purchase sales. We are also Jersey’s largest developer with a programme of investment which will deliver at least 2,000 new rental and 1,000 new first-time buyer homes by 2030.  

Andium Homes is a not for profit housing provider owned by the Government of Jersey. All our revenue comes from the rent paid by our tenants and our property sales, and we return £30m to Government each year.

Sales & Lettings Lead 

The Sales & Lettings Lead is responsible for leading our sales and letting agents that work closely on a day-to-day basis between themselves and with our clients to ensure our properties are let within the shortest possible time, minimising lost rent, while also ensuring that our property sales targets are hit on a yearly basis.  

With an extensive new build and refurbishment programme, coupled with sales of existing stock, it will require existing clients to be rehoused to make sites available for redevelopment or sales. Balancing the conflicting priorities of existing and new clients makes this role particularly interesting, highly rewarding and at times quite challenging.  The Sales & Lettings Lead will be responsible for ensuring both internal and external priorities are managed appropriately to ensure both the business and clients’ needs are met. 

 With an ever increasing number of properties both for letting and sales, the Sales & Lettings Lead will be responsible for maintaining and increasing our key stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective management of our properties.

 Facilities Lead 

The Facilities Lead is responsible for both management and the ongoing delivery of all response repairs, void refurbishments (vacant properties), office maintenance and parking management. The role will be responsible for ensuring the Repairs and Void Teams are continually meeting targets and maintaining our homes to the highest possible standard.  

The role will ensure that clients have repairs carried out to their homes to the highest quality and standards, in a timely manner in line with the contract, optimising the client experience. Value for money is at the centre of all our activities and the postholder will oversee the efficient delivery and operation of best practice ‘price per property’ partnering contracts with our external agents. 

The Facilities Lead will be responsible for a team who deliver the void refurbishment and response repair functions as well as other contracts or projects allocated to the team by the Head of Property and Asset Management. 

 Maintaining Andium Homes’ housing stock to a high standard is driven by the stock condition database. The role will involve researching, collating, procuring and delivering work specifications through to completion, ensuring full compliance with best practice, statutory requirements, financial guidelines and the successful delivery of works to defined time, cost and quality parameters.

Facilities Officer 

Reporting to the Facilities Lead, the Facilities Officer is primarily responsible for the delivery of all response repairs and void refurbishments (vacant properties), but from time to time they will be required to carry out other projects identified through our evolving Business Plan. 

The role will ensure that clients have repairs carried out to their homes to the highest quality and standards, in a timely manner in line with the contract, optimising the client experience. Value for money is at the centre of all our activities and the postholder will oversee the efficient delivery and operation of best practice ‘price per property’ partnering contracts with our external agents. 

Computer skills are key to the role, although training is available for certain business systems. Applicants will need to demonstrate an aptitude for using Microsoft Office applications.

The role will involve researching, collating, procuring and delivering a specification of work through to completion to ensure full compliance with best practice, statutory requirements, financial guidelines and the successful delivery of works to defined time, cost and quality parameters.

Planned Maintenance Officer (Project Manager) 

The successful applicant will be responsible for procuring, planning and managing a wide range of cyclical and planned maintenance projects, whilst demonstrating value for money. Many of the projects managed by the team are long-term partnering contracts. Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to manage longstanding professional relationships with contractors and consultants, with periodic reporting back to the Planned Maintenance Lead utilising best practice key performance indicators (KPI’s). 

Strong IT skills are key to the role, although training is available for certain business systems. Applicants will need to demonstrate an aptitude for using Microsoft Office applications. Experience in monitoring and controlling project budgets as well as a commercially focused approach is also beneficial to the role.

Health & Safety Manager  

To provide Health and Safety focus and expert advice to the Company, and to assist the Executive Team to continuously improve the company’s health and safety systems, working closely with Heads of Service, colleagues and contractors to bring improvement and change.   

To ensure that Andium Homes is compliant with all relevant health and safety legislation across all of its activities, that we are leading the way and being proactive in meeting our legal obligations and keeping people safe.   

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Health & Safety profession with a professional qualification and chartered membership of an appropriate professional body.  It is vital that candidates can demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm necessary to promote a culture of health and safety excellence throughout the business, with colleagues, contractors and other third party partners.
